Global Innovation Internship Program (GIIP) is initiated and supported by Chinese Testing International under the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education. The program aims to enhance international students' Chinese language skills and provide an immersive experience of traditional Chinese culture in a short period through integrated modules such as Chinese language learning, company visits, internships, practical training, and cultural activities.
At the same time, GIIP serves as a forward-looking talent reservoir for enterprises pursuing global strategies, helping participants develop professional skills and workplace competencies in real business environments, thereby strengthening their cross-cultural adaptability and future employability.
By integrating academic resources from universities with practical scenarios in enterprises, GIIP adds strong experiential appeal to studying in China. The Bund , located along the Huangpu River in Shanghai’s Huangpu District, is a renowned historic and cultural district in China.Since 1844, this area was designated as part of the British Concession, marking the starting point of Shanghai’s transformation into a modern city.

Chenghuang Temple has become a symbol of the intersection and integration of Eastern and Western cultures, thanks to its unique historical significance and cultural appeal.In many ways, the temple and its surrounding culture represent a collective memory for the people of Shanghai and serve as a spiritual embodiment of Chinese heritage within the heart of the city.

Zhujiajiao is strategically located at the crossroads of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, making it a key transportation hub in the region.The town is crisscrossed by rivers and canals, with nine long streets stretching along the waterways. Over a thousand well-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty buildings stand gracefully by the water, and 36 ancient stone bridges still retain their historic charm. The area is rich in cultural landmarks and historical sites, offering a vivid glimpse into traditional Chinese water-town life.
The GIIP Premier Universities Experience Program offers international youth the opportunity to delve into Shanghai’s world-renowned top universities and experience their exceptional academic atmosphere and cutting-edge innovation firsthand. Participants will visit prestigious institutions such as Fudan University, Tongji University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, East China University of Science and Technology, and Shanghai International Studies University.
Through academic lectures, innovative project showcases, and immersive classroom simulations, students will gain direct insight into the universities’ strong research capabilities and high-level teaching standards across various disciplines—fully appreciating their role as leading engines of knowledge in China and around the world.

This program invites students to dive deep into the essence of traditional Chinese culture through immersive experiences in unique art forms such as calligraphy,kung fu, and dragon & lion dancing.
Through these engaging cultural courses, students will not only experience the richness of Chinese traditions firsthand but also enhance their cross-cultural communication skills—learning and growing through the joy of discovery.
